I’m LUCIE MOORE, a Chicago-based sound designer and DePaul University graduate with a concentration in sound design. I’m passionate about crafting stories that resonate — not just through visuals, but through the emotional and psychological textures of sound.

I’m drawn to stories with a bit of quirk or strangeness. Through my soundscapes, I aim to tap into the more human, intuitive side of experience. That sense of intuition often comes from collaboration itself: the shared rhythm between the director, crew and story inspires how I build each soundscape. Translating those creative relationships into something audiences can feel on a deeper level is one of the greatest joys of my work.

Communication and attention to detail are vital both on set and in post-production. Developing a shared language around sound that fits each collaborator’s experience level and creative style is a high priority of mine. I want to make sure regardless of where you’re coming from, you feel heard.
